''Institutional Bondage Crib' - Solid Steel - $2,400
This 'Institutional Bondage Crib' was originally designed to mimic a hospital bed, allowing the the subject to be secured with traditional Humane Restraint gear. However, one thing lead to another, and before Martin was finished building the bed it had turned into a fully enclosed bondage cage with a barred steel top.
The following photos of the Crib were taken during a recent event featuring Amanda Wildefyre at the MedicalToys.com facility in Eureka California. Although the top of the Crib was supported with an overhead hoist in the photos, that was done only for the photographic effect. The top of the Crib can easily be lifted and maneuvered by two fit individuals.
The mattress in the Crib is a standard prison issue, 36x80 inch, mildew/flame resistant green, which we covered with a red vinyl sheet for the photos. Scroll down the page to see a photo of the original green mattress in the Crib before we covered it.
The Crib was designed with rounded-corner steel tubing and round steel bar which allow Humane Restraint straps to be secured anywhere around the mattress - either parallel with the subject's body, or lower than their body, or higher than their body. These attachment points provide easy application of canvas bed straps, leather straps, leather padded cuffs and mitts, or straitjackets. Many of these tan leather or canvas institutional restraints can be purchased from MedicalToys.com or Maxcita.com.
The Crib is a one-of-a-kind prototype, and does NOT disassemble. It is one piece, welded together. Only the top is removable. The weight of both the Crib and top combined is around 700 pounds. If you would like to purchase the Crib, it is currently located in Eureka, California, so transportation would need to be arranged. The prison mattress is supplied with the Crib.
Martin is available to build custom steel bondage gear, so if you would like to have a special Crib or similar device built to your specifications, please contact him directly via the e-mail address listed above.
